Zundel Prison Mail withheld for almost three years - out of spite!

The latest update on Zundel, as I've said before one may not agree with him but that is still no reason to lock him up and try to break him. We should all have a right to spout whatever wisdom/craziness we want to regardless of who disagrees with us.

Intermittently, I reported that there were huge problems in Mannheim with Ernst's mail in that many letters did not seem to reach him. We tried repeatedly t get to the bottom of this miserable situation but were blocked at every turn.

Now this latest, received today:

[START] Surprise, Surprise! I was called to the "Kammer" yesterday and told that I could go through two large boxes of mail that were never processed by Dr. Meinerzhagen.

Ingrid, some scheme that was from that man! So far, I have found 15 thick letters from C. M. over 2 1/2 years that were never even looked at - unopened! I found four letters from [Attorney] Doug Christie. I found three letters so far from [Attorney] Barbara K., - her and Doug's Christmas cards from 2006-2006! Lots of letters from K.S., likewise. Several letters from Jerome Brentar [an old friend who has since passed away ].

Simply unbelievable what was done! Incredibly kind, encouraging, uplifting letters! I will have days of sorting, weeks to respond and to answer people's questions. I'll report more tomorrow, worked 20 hours on it yesterday.

Christmas cards for three years - many, many hundreds of them never given to me. Imagine! And I thought Toronto West [Detention Cenre] was bad! I would never have believed this if someone had told me this could happen in our homeland at this age and time when "Human Rights" and "Human Dignity" are on everybody's lips! [END]

If you write to Ernst, please include Euro postage - 55 cents for a letter within Germany [Europe?] and 1.70 Euros for overseas.

Ernst is allowed to receive up to three postage stamps per letter. International coupons won't do him any good. Self-addressed return envelopes might work. I am not sure, but I would think that small amounts in US$ cash might also be passed on. Ernst does not have access to his own funds except for only 30 Euros spending money per month.

German High Court Backs Conviction of Holocaust Denier

Comment from wrh.com: Truth needs no law to support it. Throughout history, from Galileo to Bruno to Zundel, only lies and liars have resorted to the courts to enforce adherence to dogma.

If something is true, it need not ever fear re-examination. The sun rises in the east. People are free to re-examine that truth for themselves every morning, and the truth will reaffirm itself again and again.

We do not see legions of panicked "sunists" passing laws and threatening jail and torture to those who ask for proof that the sun rises in the east.

We do not see people who insist Elvis is still alive rounded up. We do not see people who claim to have seen Bigfoot thrown in jail. We do not see people who claim to have taken rides on board flying saucers target for career wrecking.

History is filled with genocides and in every single case, save one, the victims cry for more examination of the crimes committed against them. Only in the case of the Holocaust do the purported victims work so hard to prevent any and all examination of the facts.

The actions of the German authorities are those of someone terrified of re-examination, of those with something to hide.

Germany's top appeals court upheld the conviction of Ernst Zündel for denying the Holocaust and inciting hatred of Jews. Mr. Zündel's appeal was baseless, the Karlsruhe-based Federal Court of Justice said in a statement yesterday.

A trial court convicted Mr. Zündel, 68, for incitement, defamation, and slander February 15, and sentenced him to five years in prison, the maximum allowed under German law.

Officials are seeking to prosecute people who post denials of the Holocaust on Internet sites available in Germany. It is a crime in Germany to deny the killing of 6 million Jews by the Nazis.

Jürgen Rieger, Mr. Zündel's attorney, called yesterday's decision a "scandal" because it didn't remedy what he called flaws during the trial. He said he will ask the German Constitutional Court to overturn the decision. Mr. Zündel published the "Germania Newsletter," and sent anti-Semitic publications from Canada to people in Germany, the court said. He also ran a Web site with his wife, the court said. Mr. Zündel left the country as a 19-year-old and lived in Canada, from where he was extradited to stand trial in Germany.

Why I admire Ernst Zundel

Just for the record, and given the storm of comments this post has provoked, the title was taken from the original posting. I do admire anyone who stands up to orthodoxy, I admire Copernicus for the same reason, but I do not necessarily agree with Zundel or all of the post I've reprinted below - same goes for everything on this crazy website! Jebus, if I believed all this stuff I would be in a loony-bin, and I'm not! Why don't people understand that? The words reprinted below are those of the author, my intention is to inform and deliberately flaunt the incarceration of this man, he wrote a book, he didn't try and take over the world. He simply wants to express his opinion.

Some more on the Zundel story, it never ceases to amaze me how such a blatant violation of everything we in "democratic" societies hold dear can occur under the very noses of all of us. This story puts us all to shame. None of the cowards in the mainstream media dare speak of the influence of the Zionist Scum for fear of being sacked and labeled an "anti-semite" well guess what? I do! If loathing the vile, racist, violent, bloodthirsty, hateful and corrupt state of Israel, or opposing the imprisonment of anyone for expressing an OPINION is anti-semitism then, by gum, I am an anti-semite and bloody well proud of it! The ignorance in this world will be the fuel by which hundreds of thousands of innocents burn. Our "civilisation" is nothing of the kind, we are a primitive, barbaric child-race not much different to a bunch of baboons!

How could anyone admire a man that publicly admits admiration for Adolf Hitler, that openly acknowledges himself to be a "Holocaust skeptic," and who never apologizes for his political incorrectness and nonconformist views? Who could possibly approve of a man who has put his personal freedom and indeed life on the line countless times in order to do nothing more than bring the world’s attention to what he believes to be an honest, albeit alternative view of history? Who could appreciate anyone bold enough to literally carry a cross on his own back, on behalf of all the world’s Germans for no other reason than to at least partially exonerate them of the collective guilt forced upon them after the Second World War?

Who could possibly admire a man that has sustained nothing but continuous persecution from society at large, who has been the victim of an ongoing smear campaigns launched more than three decades ago, who has suffered from every conceivable attack on his character, finances, family and even on his life? Who could think highly of man who despite all these things, and despite the fact that he is in prison at this very moment, not for a crime, no…no…. but because he questions certain aspects of the holocaust story?

Again, I ask, who could ever appreciate a man who for the last several decades has devoted himself to bringing forth the unpopular views of hard working academics, who were it not for Ernst Zundel, may be unknown today, and their work tossed into the sea of forgettable historiography, not based upon its undeniable merit, but based upon the fact that it didn’t sit well with mainstream and politically acceptable views?

How could anyone possibly hold a man like this in high regard, when there are so many other courageous individuals out there willing to stand up for their views, heroes that wouldn’t consider apologizing for their beliefs, like American politicians? For instance, when Jim Moran boldly exclaimed the obvious fact that Israel stood the most to gain from a U.S. war in Iraq, and in fact was influencing American foreign policy by way of a few well placed American Zionist officials. What about Trent Lott, who stated at a GOP function that the United States would have been, better off today had Strom Thurmond become president back in the 1950s. What about the daring exploits of Howard Dean, the Democratic parties best bet in 2004, a man unafraid to take a stand on an issue he can apologize for later. Yes, America is full of courageous people, people unafraid to throw their neighbor to the crocodile, in hopes of being the last eaten.
If I were interested in apologists and hesitant stands on ambiguous issues, I’d have plenty of heroes to admire, right here in the United States. Being an academic, I could seek out other academics to idolize and/or admire, there are so many courageous examples, although I can’t think of one right now. Some of you might shout, "Hey, what about Noam Chomsky?" I’d just say, been there done that, and found the esteemed professor "sympathetic" to Ernst Zundel’s plight, "outrageous," he even exclaimed, but in the end, he felt that it wouldn’t be in anyone’s best interests, if he were to speak out too vocally on Ernst’s behalf. Academic cowardice?

What about all the gutsy journalists working for the prestigious networks and newspapers? Certainly, these bold "defenders" of truth and justice would write an article on the illegal nature in which Ernst was deported from the United States to Canada, where he was subsequently thrown quietly into a solitary confinement cell in the Toronto West detention Center, in Toronto Canada. Or how in 2005 he was quietly deported from Canada to his native Germany where he now sits more than a year later after numerous trial delays initiated by his persecutors. These brave journalists would definitely be interested in an expose on how the new terrorism laws are already being abused to silence dissent.

The idea that Mr. Zundel is a threat to any nations national Security is ridiculous, the man hasn’t committed a violent crime in his entire life and has never been convicted of a crime that wasn’t later overturned in Canada’s highest court. The brave and courageous purveyor’s of "fair and balanced" news haven’t written an article yet, that even approached an equitable portrayal of Mr. Zundel. Ernst Zundel’s crime is that he is politically incorrect, a nonconformist and no matter what the powers that be throw at him, he just won’t apologize and prostrate himself in feigned humility like so many of our illustrious leaders. He is dangerous only to the status quo, and they know it, that in fact is why he currently languishes in prison, not because he actually represents a danger to society.

Machiavelli at work in the Mainstream Media

Excellent article by Curt Maynard on how the mainstream media is used to brainwash and decieve the populations of pretty much every country on Earth. Worth sending to anyone you know who still believes that the TV "news" tells them what's going on in the world.

Want to understand how the media is misused to assassinate the character of good men, while at the same time advancing the agenda of a small elite group of criminals intent on keeping us as ignorant as possible? All you need do is watch the television with a critical eye - bear in mind that it is a propaganda device and your entertainment is NOT its primary purpose.

Concepts like "right wing," "left wing," "liberal," "conservative," no longer have any relevance - the media has essentially hijacked the role as spokesperson for these issues and uses them only to keep us divided into relatively small groups that are of no threat to it and the established order. How does this work?

The CBC reported a year or so ago in bold headlines, "Canadian Jewish groups happy about Zundel charges, waiting for conviction."

So what is Ernst Zundel guilty of according to German prosecutors? Zundel according to Germany’s Injustice Ministry is "known internationally as a leader of the right-wing scene." Yep – that’s the best they can do. Apparently the German prosecutors haven’t been paying attention to their own leftist rhetoric, as America’s Neo-Cons are in fact the "leaders of the right-wing scene" these days, and the neo-con’s are no friends of Ernst Zundel.

According to Joseph Stromberg, the Neo-Cons have been the "leaders" of the "right wing" since "mid fifties onward." Jeffrey Steinberg refers to the Neo-Cons as "leaders" of the right wing," as does Jim Lobe, who even goes so far as to refer to the neo-cons as representative of the "extreme right." George Bush is the president of the United States of America; so we could, despite appearances, call him a "leader," if we wanted to and just about every Democrat in this country refers to Bush as "right wing." So the question is, with friends and associates like this, what in the world is Ernst Zundel doing in prison then?

The answer of course is that the aforementioned Zionists are no friends of Ernst Zundel, in fact he wouldn’t be caught dead associating with such undesirables. One of the problems here of course is that the American right was hijacked by the left years ago; a transition that never occurred in Germany, leaving us with this inconsistent legacy and the Germans with a bit of explaining to do. Several years ago, as if in recognition of the fact that neoconservativism was a "right wing" phenomenon; the American and European left became the bad guy, the anti-Semites, the traitors, etc… etc… ad infinitum. This of course amounts to nothing less that a complete and total reversal from the position taken by the media less than twenty years ago, when it was fashionable to blame "right wing nuts," for every anti-Semitic incident or innuendo.
The reality of the situation is, and perhaps we should look at it from this perspective, the German nation suffers from an acute form of mass schizophrenia brought on by being subjected to contradictory and inconsistent forms of disinformation since WWII. How could I say that? Let me put it as delicately as I can, "Germany just sentenced a man to five years in prison because he believes that the official version of the holocaust has been distorted for nefarious purposes." Is that what a modern democracy should do?

For Whom The Bell Tolls

David Irving was sent to jail for denying Jewish superiority.
His doom seals the reign of freedom that began with the fall of the Bastille.

"Do not ask for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee," said the English poet, John Donne. A shameful Austrian verdict bodes ill not only for the English historian David Irving (sentenced to three years of gaol) but for our freedom as well. Never has our feeling of justice been insulted like this! When an occasional dissident was jailed in Brezhnev's Russia or Ne Win's Burma, there was always an uproar of protest. Now the only response to the Irving verdict is stunned silence. When they sent innocent Muslims to the living hell of Guantanamo, we could think: they are people of the Third World -- different rules apply. A Batista policeman in Graham Greene's Our Man in Havana had said: some people can be tortured, and some can not. When Ernst Zundel was kidnapped in the US and brought to trial in Germany, we could think: it is a German internal affair. Now an eminent man of letters, an author of widely read and acclaimed books, a recognized European figure was snatched from a civilised country and jailed for irreverence to the Jews.

Technically, David Irving was sentenced for so-called "holocaust denial". But the concept of Jewish holocaust being the only enforced dogma of supposedly secular Europe has little to do with the Second World War and its atrocities. It has everything to do with the Jewish claim of superiority and exclusivity. There is a Jewish prayer saying: "Bless you, Lord, that you created me a Jew, that you separated between Jews and the earth folks, like you separated between the Holy and Profane, that our fate is not like their fate". The Holocaust concept is just another form of this prayer. They say that even their death is not like the death of anybody else. We must deny the concept of Holocaust without doubt and hesitation, even if every story of Holocaust down to the most fantastic invention of Wiesel were absolutely true. Therefore the technical discussions of Jewish mortality are perfectly legitimate but superfluous, like the argument whether a whale could swallow Jonah is superfluous for an atheist.

The legal enforcers of the Holocaust want us to bow down to the idol of Jewish superiority, or else! They won't jail Deborah Lipstadt for denial of the Holocaust of Dresden, or Guenter Lewy who penned a lengthy piece entitled Were American Indians the Victims of Genocide? denying the genocide of native Americans. The Jews produced and published these denials for the same reason they published the Satanic Pictures - in order to emphasise the difference between a goy and a Jew. They want you to remember: you may profane Islam and Christianity, but not Judaism. You may discount the suffering of anybody but the Jews.

Thus, we should say: David Irving was sentenced for denial of Jewish superiority. His doom seals the reign of (albeit limited) freedom that began with the fall of Bastille. European history went full circle: from rejecting the rule of Church and embracing free thought, to the new Jewish mind-control on a world scale. Not only is Western Christian civilisation dead, but even its successor, secular European civilisation, has met its demise only a few days after its proud and last celebration by the Danish scribes. It was short-lived: about two hundred years from beginning to the end, the Europeans may once have had the illusion that they can live without an ideological supremacy. Now this illusion is over; and the Jews came in the stead of the old and tired See of St Peter to rule over the minds and souls of Europeans.

In 1962, Look magazine invited founder of the Jewish state David Ben-Gurion to picture the world 25 years into the future. He predicted that World Government would already be in place by 1987, with the Supreme Court for Mankind (the higher ecclesiastic body) would be established in Jerusalem, along with a shrine there commemorating the Jewish role in the bringing-together of mankind. He was mistaken by only a few years. The world is not fully subdued yet, but it already knows its new master.

In the 19th century, Europeans could not fully colonise China. But there was an obvious mark of their supremacy: the Settlement System. It divided the residents of China into two categories: the supreme human beings (the Europeans) and the lowly natives. A native who raised his hand against a superior European was tried by European colonial law, a European whose misdeed caused harm to a native was out of bounds of native justice. This system of "settlements" was dismantled by Chairman Mao after the Communist victory of 1949. Similar systems of colonial justice went down with the colonial empires that employed them, and for a short while afterwards, every country was sovereign over its land.

Some time ago, the Knesset of the Jewish State revived the Settlement System for the non-yet-fully-colonised world: an offender against the Jews, wherever he lives, wherever he commits his offence, can be brought to the Jewish court. The offended Jew may have no connection whatsoever to the Jewish State, the offence may be not considered an offence by the local native law, but he still can be brought to Jewish justice in Jerusalem. This law claimed supreme sovereignty of the Jews over the rest of mankind. This law denied the sovereignty of all nations save one. Such a claim had to be treated as any hostile attempt of the nation's sovereignty: as an act of war. But it passed in silence due to a marvellous Jewish invention: gradualness.

This method was explained by Amira Hass, the Haaretz correspondent in colonised Palestine. She wrote: "If you throw a frog into boiling water, it will jump out and save its life. But a frog swimming in room temperature water that is gradually heated will grow used to the heat; by the time the water boils, it's too late and the frog dies. In the development of the Israeli system of control over the Palestinian people and their land, the Israeli occupation has raised to the level of genius the use of gradualness as a means of making people grow used to something." This gradualness was used by the Jews - not only in regard to the Palestinians.

The Settlement System started small: the Long Arm of the Jews snatched Adolf Eichmann in Argentina and brought him to Jewish justice in Jerusalem. Adolf Eichmann was a bad guy who did a lot of harm to Jews in a big way, so many countries chose to disregard this grievous infringement of Argentine sovereignty. And it was just the beginning:

A few years later, the Polish court demanded the extradition of a Jewish mass murderer, Solomon Morel. This Morel tortured and killed with his own hands hundreds of ethnic Germans in a concentration camp in postwar Poland. His crimes were exposed by the late American journalist John Sack. Morel escaped to Tel Aviv, and the Jewish state replied to the Polish demand with imperial haughtiness: "What Chutzpah! These natives do not know their place!" Probably, Queen Victoria would reply like that if a native African chief were to demand the surrender of one of her officials to his justice.

Since then, every country, big and small, has accepted the notion of the Jews being above the law. The wealthy Russian Jewish crook Nevzlin escaped Russia and lives peacefully in Tel Aviv, next to Flatto-Sharon, a French-Jewish crook, not far from a murderer of a Canadian child, within a reach from many other killers and crooks. A powerful Jewish organisation called Khabad wrote in its charter: there should be no Jews in goys' jails. By bribes and persuasion they release Jewish criminals from jails and ship them to the Jewish state. The Khabad founder, Lubawitsch Rebbe's birthday is celebrated as a holiday, "Education Day," in the USA.

In property cases Jews are also above the law. Jewish property is sacrosanct. They have demanded and received back all property that once belonged to Jews in Germany, Austria, France, Baltic states. If a Jew had no heirs, his property went to World Jewry. But 90% of goys' property was confiscated by the Jewish state in 1948, and since then 50% of the lands conquered in 1967. Even last year thousands of dunams of goys' lands were taken over in Jerusalem area, for a goy has no real title to property, according to Jewish law.

A taste of Jewish justice is provided in the case of an Israeli captain who murdered a schoolgirl, 13, in full sight of his soldiers. He emptied his gun unto her body and was found not guilty by the Jewish court. Actually, none of the non-Jewish children' murderers (two hundred in the last three years) was ever punished by a Jewish court. Not many of them were even brought to justice, but whoever was got off lightly. The settler Nachum Korman murdered a 10-year-old boy, Hilmi Shusha, in the village of Hussan. He was apprehended, taken to the court and forensic evidence against him was brought by the highest Israeli forensic institution, but the judge dismissed the evidence and sentenced the murderer to six months of social work. On mere suspicion of having committed such a crime against a Jewish child, a goy gets a life sentence.

Jewish justice makes us look back at the Inquisition trials with some nostalgia. When Galileo repented, he was allowed to continue his studies unhindered. The repentance of Irving did not help him a bit. The judge said: "The regret he showed was considered to be mere lip service to the law." And "independent expert" Dina Porat, head of Tel Aviv University's Institute for the Study of Contemporary Anti-Semitism and Racism, said that "Irving's purported repentance is motivated by his fear of a verdict that could amount to 10 years' imprisonment."

Now, Jewish justice is being enforced on a global scale. The European Jewish Congress is set to file a complaint in the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for "incitement to genocide", but all attempts to bring Ariel Sharon to justice predictably failed. The greater Jewish state, the US, also adopted its smaller sister's idea of unlimited supreme sovereignty. An offence against an American citizen can be brought to an American court wherever it occurred. Surprisingly, this Imperial claim, akin to the Settlement system of old, was also utilised mainly in the Jewish interests. Whenever Jewish settlers -- American citizens -- were killed in the course of the Middle Eastern conflict, American judges ruled against the Palestinian National Authority, Iran, Hamas and the whole world, and granted the victims' survivors multimillion dollar damages. But nobody can sue the Jews: whether they kill Rachel Corrie, the American peace activist, with a bulldozer in Gaza, or they strafe American sailors on board USS Liberty or kill and maim American Palestinians.

With the Austrian verdict, Jewish supremacy ceased to be a paranoid's nightmare, and became a fact bound in law, like the Viking supremacy in Danelaw, in East Anglia of old, with this one difference: the Jewish supremacy has religious overtones while the Vikings relied upon their swords and their dogs.

This is openly discussed in the Jewish world. "We live in the full blossom of Messiah Days, free from our political adversaries and soon to be freed from the satanic goys", Uriel Tal wrote. While Christians believe that the Second Coming of Christ will usher a completely new world of miracles, the Jewish view expressed by Maimonides is that the world in the Days of Messiah will not differ much from the world we knew, except for triumph of Jewish supremacy, Gedulath Israel (Hilchoth Teshuva 9:2). Based on this understanding, the Sanhedrin, the Jewish supreme religious court, was established a year ago to judge the world. It is led by Rabbi Adin Steinzaltz, and the goyim who observe the Noahide commandments made their obeisance to him.

Some months ago I was brought to the police station in my Jaffa and asked to answer the complaint of the French Jewish organisation, LICRA.

- "Did you write about Jewish supremacy and world dominion?" a policeman asked.

- "So what if I did?" I replied. "Every second Rabbi has expressed this view."

- "Yes, but they see it in a positive light!" said the policeman.

Thus there is no argument about the fact of Jewish supremacy, only about its assessment. If you think it is good, you may even be a US president -- if you think it is bad, your place is in jail! Meanwhile, Jewish supremacy is hard on those who challenge it as Irving did. Gradually -- oh ever so gradually, so as not to frighten the frog from heating water -- the screw will tighten.

Eventually it may become unpleasant: Jewish justice can give a handsome handicap to its nearest competitor in ruthlessness, Genghis Khan. It is partial, and proud of it. By Jewish law, a Jew vs. a Goy is always right, even if he is wrong. The Europeans will feel the tender mercy of the Jews, until now the exclusive privilege of Palestinians. There may well be poetic justice in this turn of events.

Ordinary Jews aren't going to enjoy the new-old order of things. If there is something Jewish justice likes even less than a goy, it's a stray Jew. Apostates, that is Jews who turned to Christ, should be killed, according to Maimonides. The extremely clement Rabbi Asher tore off the noses of Jewish women who had intercourse with a goy, while Jewish men were normally flogged for this transgression. Well, some obligations coming with superior status.

Christianity will probably dwindle; only its Jew-worshipping sects, similar to the US Christian Zionists, will survive. Others will be prosecuted for their antisemitism and will be disbanded. The churches will be destroyed, in accordance with the Jewish commandment. They should not be allowed to compete with the Temple in Jerusalem which will be rebuilt on the ruins of the al Aqsa Mosque. The rebuilding will be quite painless: after the forthcoming attack on Iran, Muslims will have other things to worry about -- for instance, their physical survival! This can't be guaranteed, as they were proclaimed "Amalek", and their mass annihilation is a religious duty of the Jews. The road to this future is opened by the fateful ruling of the Austrians.

Always looking for the bright side of things: now the Europeans do not have to worry about the dark prophecy of the Protocols. The rule of the Elders of Zion is already upon us, and egad! -- it is not half as bad as we feared. At least, not yet.

Will the European governments that ban any talk about the Nazis not having murdered 6 million Jews start rounding up the newspaper editors who published the Muhammad cartoons and start putting them on trial for crimes against Islam? European governments and their media mouthpieces appear to use the mantle of free speech to justify publishing supposed insults against Muslims. But what about the free speech rights of people who dare to go against conventional thinking of Nazi atrocities committed against Europe?s Jews?

These Holocaust deniers, revisionists and skeptics don?t have any rights to free speech in many European countries (and Canada), unlike their brethren who dare to publish images of the Prophet Muhammad but don?t face criminal charges. David Irving now must spend the next three years in prison for giving two speeches in Austria in 1989. Ernst Zundel faces up to five years in prison for publishing his opinions on the Zundelsite website while living in Canada.

Should people who downplay the Confederate States of America?s treatment of slaves and the U.S. government?s treatment of Native Americans face criminal charges? Should the people who publicly contend that the U.S. government was justified in killing hundreds of thousands in Hiroshima and Nagasaki face criminal charges? Should the people who deny the wickedness of the U.S. invasions of Vietnam and Iraq faces criminal charges? Should the people who deny the wickedness of Israel?s conduct against Palestinians face criminal charges? Of course not!

We are dealing with a simple yet extremely dangerous case of nation-states gone wild. Instead of addressing their complicity in modern-day atrocities?such as providing either unabashed logistical support for or tacit approval of the U.S. government?s crimes around the world?these governments arrest people for public speech.

Irving, Zundel and others who face criminal charges of ?denying the Holocaust? have not committed violence against anybody. They have not given orders to soldiers to invade and occupy another country. They have not given orders to police or soldiers to arrest and imprison individuals without charges. They have not given approval to secret police, soldiers or prison guards to torture individuals.

Irving, Zundel and others have expressed their opinions about one of the most despicable periods in our world?s history. These expressions might anger people. But these people are not in positions of power today that would give them the means to implement policies that mimic the conduct of the Nazis.

Today, the leaders of liberal democratic governments are the ones with the authority (and police and military firepower) to mimic selected policies of the Nazis and the policies of other notorious regimes in our world?s history without fear they will face the consequences of their deadly actions.

If one does not like what some people might say or write about the Holocaust, then that person should ignore it. If one does not like images of the Prophet Muhammad published in newspapers, then that person should ignore them.

What we should not ignore is when nation-states, with their monopoly on violence, lock up people for expressing their opinions about government atrocities committed 60 years ago. More important, we should not ignore the fact that the governments that are locking up individuals for speaking their mind about the actions of the Nazis are the same governments aiding and abetting (or refusing to denounce and stop) the atrocities committed today by the world?s only superpower and its confederates.

Peace, Justice, And Honesty

This article is superb and hits the nail squarely on the head.

When's the last time you read about any of those things in your local newspaper? I wonder when the last time the word "peace" issued from the sewage lips of Fox News' Bill O'Reilly? Probably when he was talking about torturing innocent Muslim civilians at the gulag called Guantanamo, that's his kind of peace.

And justice? How many stories on TV have you heard about Ernst Zundel, who talks frequently about peace, justice, and honesty, but for the past 14 months has been held in solitary confinement in a Canadian jail without any charges ever being filed. He is not even allowed to see the evidence against him. Yet he tells a very compelling story that everybody should listen to. Shouldn't somebody be writing a story about justice for Ernst?

Or Dick Simkanin, jailed for making a point against the government where the judge who convicted him couldn't even cite a statute he had broken before he found him guilty. He's buried so deep in jail you can't even find him on Google.

Same with Charles Sell. The guy who did dental IDs on the Waco victims and saw all those bulletholes. He served his sentence on some trumped up charge, but they won't let him out. They keep drugging him and saying he's crazy, a real tribute to the legacy of Janet Reno and Wesley Clark in an ugly Texas town.

Oh, this is a very long list. Suffice it to say American justice is dead Iraqi family who didn't know what hit them. This is how democracy arrived in the cradle of civilization.

And honesty? I can sum it up in one phrase I read in the newspapers: "They hate our freedoms."

Corporations pay no taxes. You and me give them 50 percent of what we earn.

Honesty is to admit that America is the evil empire. You hear people whispering that on the streets, but you don't see it in the newspapers. People are afraid to say that, because if they do, they're apt to disappear, just like those three, and oh so many more.

And it's not just the government, as so many people overseas say to try and let the American population off hook. But it's the people, too. People who refuse to see that killing faraway people in order to get lower prices is not the mark of a decent bunch of folks. We could stop it at any time, but we don't. And it's not because we can't stop, but because we just don't care.

Just before I answered that fellow's letter, however, I did chance across an exceptionally eloquent example of honesty, in a forward from an e-mail friend I know only as G88POGEL. It was a detailed explanation of political intrigues of the last two hundred years written by Webster Tarpley, author of "George Bush:
The Unauthorized Bioography," and delivered at a Lyndon LaRouche conference.

The truth is, Tarpley explained, that it has been Britain which has been behind all the wars of the last two centuries, and is at it still, only now the bankers from London are wholly intertwined with the Zionists and the Americans.

Ever consider that Britain and America were on the wrong side in both World Wars, and that our current climate of endless wars and everpresent fearmongering were the result of Britain's desire to rule the world? Then maybe you can talk to me about peace, justice, and honesty. It's shameful what Americans are doing to the world. Israelis too. They both seem to have learned the repulsive habits of the British.

Your parents didn't bring you up to be killers, I don't think. Maybe they did and just won't admit it.

It's so hard not to lapse into negativity with all this phony stuff that is coming down around our ears today. But it has been going on a long time.

Because the centerpiece of society is money, and that's the only viewpoint capitalist media will admit is valid, we cannot hope for peace. It's excluded from the agenda, off the charts, out of the game. You just never read about peace, except as in imminent threats to.

Private control of the money supply, the thing that got all those presidents gunned down, is the single central challenge jeopardizing the future. Wars will never end as long the Federal Reserve and the Rothschild banks of London continue to exist. This is where the revolution should focus. Because nothing will be fixed as long as they remain intact.

The only reason we have wars is because these private bankers want war. It is the most profitable human endeavor.

The 21st century needs to address the issue of profit, because it has been proven to be a case of profit for the powerful few, and total loss for the other 99 percent of the population.

Without this focus, there can be no peace, no justice, and no honesty.

Who Is Ernst Zundel, And Why Is He In Jail?

I know I'm going to take flack for this one, but I don't care. In a "free" society one should be free to express one's views - even if those views go against what everyone else thinks. That's the nature of "freedom" and anyone who tries to curtail freedom of speech is a fascist, in deeds if not in name. If you find it offensive then go read another book or choose a different webpage, nobody is forcing you to be here. The true evil in this world is intolerance in all it's shades.

For more than six months now, Ernst Zundel has been held without charge in solitary confinement in Canada on the pretext that he is a threat to national security. In fact, this 64-year-old German-born writer, publisher and civil rights activist is a political prisoner and a victim of great injustice.

Who is this man, and why is his case important?

Zundel was arrested at his home in Tennessee on Feb. 5, where he had been living peacefully with his wife, Ingrid Rimland, on the pretext that he missed an interview date with immigration authorities. Two weeks later he was deported to Canada, even though his wife is an American citizen.

Claiming that he is a national security threat, Canadian authorities have been holding Zundel since Feb. 19. The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) — something like the American FBI — supports this charge by citing tenuous and years-old ties by Zundel to “white supremacist” groups. While acknowledging that he is not violent himself, CSIS also argues that material published by Zundel might cause “like-minded individuals to engage in violence.”

There is absolutely no basis for the “security threat” charge. Zundel’s life is an open book. He is a peaceful man with no record of violence. During the 40 years he lived in Canada, he was never convicted of a crime. In fact, he has himself been a victim of hate and violence. He survived at least three attempts on his life, including a devastating arson attack against his residence.

Jewish groups are demanding that Zundel be deported to Germany, where he faces years of imprisonment for the “thought crime” of “denying the Holocaust.” (“Holocaust denial” is against the law in Germany, France, Switzerland and some other European countries.)

Zundel is in prison not because his views are unpopular, or because he’s a “security risk.” He’s in prison because Jewish groups want him there. He’s a prisoner because he promotes views that the Jewish-Zionist lobby considers harmful to its interests.

This lobby is the decisive, critical factor in the decades-old campaign to silence him. The only sustained and institutionalized effort to imprison him has come from this lobby, which includes the Simon Wiesenthal Center, the Canadian Jewish Congress, the Canadian Holocaust Remembrance Association, and the League for Human Rights of B’nai B’rith (with the Anti-Defamation League, its counterpart in the US).

America Built A Prison And Put The World On Death Row

My life is like a cage of pain. Oh, I'm healthy enough for my age, though I eat too much junk and don't exercise enough. I talk to the most brilliant people, caring people, the ones most aghast at the way the world has become a slick cistern of vicious lies, where the truth is what powerful men say it is, and the old values like honor and sacrifice are laughed at by teenage boys boogie boarding in the surf and trying to figure out a way to live their lives without working. In this still warm November sunshine, trudging aimlessly along a pristine beach, amid shorebirds scurrying for their next meal, I feel like I am on Death Row.

Of course, I am embarrassed to say this, with my easy life and available contentment all around me. I am shamed by men like Ernst Zundel, who languishes in his tiny prison cell in Canada, abused by callous guards and corrupt judges, who can speak of the noble nature of mankind and how it is time to organize that urge and rise up against the maniacs who enslave us with their jingoistic doublespeak. How can he, who has so little, see so much freedom, and how can I, who have so much, feel so imprisoned?

Sometimes I imagine I am living the life of the world, and try my darnedest to see where it is going, where things are headed. I haven't seen any dolphins this year, all year. Used to be, last year and before, I'd see them everytime I looked out to sea. But red tide's been in all summer. Shouldn't swim in it. Get a sore throat. But usually it doesn't smell like it sometimes does, when it makes you cough. The blight doesn't keep the tourists away. They're happy enough to have escaped the snows of New Jersey. But it miss my dolphins. It's not a good sign.

And I miss other things, too. Yes, of course that girl who lit my life but insisted I was lying. That's probably a lump of coal that will never leave my throat. But I miss my country, too, the one I was taught to believe meant liberty and justice for all. What a joke that was, when you finally get around to reading how George Washington slaughtered Indians in Ohio or American soldiers went around executing peasants in Vietnam without anybody ever hearing about it until 40 years later.

Of course, of course, and about American soldiers murdering innocent families in Iraq. Operation Iraqi Freedom, right? Freedom from life, is what.

I miss my country, the one I was taught I had. I think soon, too, I will miss my planet, given the condition of the fractured ionosphere, the particulated air, the poisoned oceans, and the toxic soil. (A friend put her hands in her garden in a well-heeled Sarasota subdivision recently and came out with chemical burns that took weeks to heel.) This is not to even mention the radioactivity being spread around the planet. You know. It's in the bullets. Oh yes, and also in the sperm of the soldiers who come home in one piece.

In the bright sunshine, dimmed somewhat by those curious chemtrails in the sky, I feel like I am on Death Row. And it's more than the doctrinaire existential dilemma of turning 59. Death from old age would be a comfort to look forward to. It's just that more and more I feel hope is being systematically removed from the world. That a great extermination is about to take place. And, through my inattention to things economic and my willingness to speak about my dreams, I am in the lead phalanx on America's inexorable death march toward Camp Ashcroft.

Others I talk to share my malaise. I hope they have more food in their cupboards than I do. But they, too, will face this moment.

It was compelling to read the other day of the interview in Cigar Aficionado magazine of retired Gen. Tommy Franks saying one more terrorist attack in this country and all Constitutional guarantees will be terminated. It is one of the great satisfactions of my life that ten minutes after the so-called terrorist attacks of 9/11, I exclaimed: "This was an inside job!" It's nice to have been proven right, even though a majority of Americans have yet to catch up with the obvious evidence.

Looking forward to that first Red Alert, where nobody will be allowed to leave their homes, and the military will come around, checking out everybody, house by house, no doubt dragging a few away kicking and screaming. Or, maybe they'll sedate you on the spot.
