Weather War?

I know you all probably think I'm a bit mad but maybe, just maybe, the recent flooding in the UK is not the result of Mother Nature but is in fact Russia's response to the whole Litvinenko affair. Expel 4 diplomats for the benefit of the media and cause the floods, which the brainless hacks blame global warming for!? Or something... Well, that's why they call this codshit.com!

The huge mushroom cloud soared skywards, the captain was gripped by fear, believing his plane was about to be engulfed by the fall-out from a nuclear explosion. After declaring mayday and ordering his crew to don oxygen masks, the experienced pilot had the presence of mind to record that the cloud measured an estimated 200 miles in diameter and was tipped by an eerie light, like nothing he had seen before. Eventually, it soared harmlessly into the atmosphere, leaving the passenger jet to continue safely on its journey from Anchorage, in Alaska, to Tokyo.

But far below, a fleet of fishing boats trawling the sea between Japan and the Soviet Union was drenched by a violent but short-lived downpour before the weather suddenly cleared. Nuclear tests and volcanic activity were later ruled out but scientists concluded that this was not a natural phenomenon. More than two decades later suspicion still exists that the stunned airline crew and fishermen in 1973 were witnessing a sinister Cold War experiment, in which water from the Sea of Japan was blown into the air to create clouds and rain.

British government papers, just released by the National Archives, show that throughout the Seventies there was deep mistrust between the two superpowers over environmental warfare. The documents reveal that both the US, which led the field, and the Soviet Union had secret military programmes with the goal of controlling the world's climate. "By the year 2025 the United States will own the weather, " one scientist is said to have boasted.

Since then, a United Nations treaty has been signed which bans environmental warfare, such as causing earthquakes, melting the polar ice caps and altering climate. But some experts believe that clandestine work to create the ultimate weapon of mass destruction continues.

These claims are dismissed by sceptics as wild conspiracy theories and the stuff of James Bond movies but there is growing evidence that the boundaries between science fiction and fact are becoming increasingly blurred. The Americans now admit that they invested L12million over five years during the Vietnam war on "cloud seeding" - deliberately creating heavy rainfall to wash away enemy crops and destroy supply routes on the Ho Chi Minh trail, in an operation codenamed Project Popeye.

It is claimed that rainfall was increased by a third in targeted areas, making the weather-manipulation weapon a success. At the time, government officials said the region was prone to heavy rain.

"Natural" Disasters?

by Trowbridge H. Ford

Bertrand Russell concluded A History of Western Philosophy on this optimistic note: "In the welter of conflicting fanaticisms, one of the few unifying forces is scientific truthfulness, by which I mean the habit of basing our beliefs upon observations and inference as impersonal, and as much divested of local and temperamental bias, as is possible for human beings. To have insisted upon the introduction of this virtue into philosophy, and to have invented a powerful method by which it can be rendered fruitful, are the chief merits of the philosophical school of which I am a member....In abandoning a part of its dogmatic pretensions, philosophy does not cease to suggest and inspire a way of life." (p. 836)

For the first time since the classical Greek philosophers, according to Russell, philosophy, thanks to what has happened in science since Copernicus, had a proper method, modern analytical empiricism, by which it can slowly build up a theory of the nature world - what had traditionally been corrupted by the preconceptions and aims of moral and political thinkers. Coupled with quantum mechanics and Albert Einstein's theory of relativity, physics was putting its house finally in order, and philosophy was following suit, promising a world where liberalism would hold sway, and mankind would flourish.

Russell never revised and updated his tome, though he lived another quarter century, and the reason for it is not difficult to determine - the development of atomic weapons, and the possibility of mankind's annihilation increasingly occupied his thoughts and actions. While the philosopher did not object to the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki - apparently because they shortened the war with Japan - he became alarmed about their possibilities, once the Soviets demonstrated that they too had the bomb. Russell never had any sympathy either in theory or practice with the Soviet Union, considering it only to be the latest and most virulent form of fanaticism.

As Russell grew older, he became angrier as his more traditional betes noirs, adherence to traditional religion and their secular counterparts, ideologies, were replaced by the spiraling arms race between the superpowers and the chances of wars like in the one in Vietnam setting off their use for real. The Korean War became Russell's alarm call as it showed the Soviet Union and Red China coming together in ways which could trigger nuclear annihilation. To stem the tide, Russell enlisted the dying Einstein in 1957 to join the Pugwash movement - an organization of scientists worldwide to force their governments to renounce nuclear weapons. Its conferences attempted to put on an institutional basis what Dr. Joseph Rotblat, a refugee Polish physicist in the Manhattan Project did - resigned - when he learned that Hitler's Germany was not pursuing its own bomb to win WWII.

The American intervention in the Vietnamese civil war turned Russell's opposition to it increasingly into nearly hysterical outbursts, as Alan Ryan has written in Bertrand Russell: A Politcal Life, but there was no reason in his concerns that Ryan was willing to admit. In 1961, Russell wrote Has Man a Future?, elaborating upon the threat because of the willingness of scientists to put their expertise to harmful uses. The Russian atomic scientists, led by Igor Kurchatov, had successfully exploded a hydrogen bomb of their own design on November 22, 1955. Then the Soviets produced a fusion reactor which had all kinds of military uses, especially being able to create massive amounts of neutrons on demand, and what could be directed on a target anywhere with the proper accelerator. And, of course, the USSR was well ahead of the West in the development of missiles for the delivery of atomic bombs.

In this pressure-cooker atmosphere, the aims of Russell's Pugswash movement had little chance of recruiting Soviet scientists until Stalin had departed the scene, and some kind of détente was achieved with Washington. When the Soviet Union felt comfortable enough about its situation to sign the Helsinki Accords on Security and Co-operation in Europe, its privileged scientists, notably Andrei Sakharovn who designed its thermonuclear bomb and fusion reactor, were increasingly
inclined to tell Moscow what should be done across the board to make sure the country was strong enough to ensure peace. Only by all Soviet citizens being able to speak their minds could the country be assured of reasonable policies in science and politics at home and abroad.

Sakharov's leadership of dissent brought all kinds critics, especially other scientists like P. L. Kapitsa, Lev Landau, Vladimir Bukovsky, and Yuri Orlov, of Soviet policy, to the fore. With the Helsinki Accords in place, the USSR promised to establish an environment where truths of all kinds could flourish instead of one where Moscow relied upon borrowed ideas, one way or another, from the West regarding accelerators, atomic energy, shortwave technology, jet propulsion and the like. The turning point had occurred when Kapitsa challenged the new leader Khurshchev in January 1955 on the way Moscow managed the whole scientific enterprise, starting with the revival of the study of genetics.

The attitude of main-line Soviet scientists, though, was still best captured when Kurchatov was queried at a 1956 lecture in Britain about the chances of exchanging information on the possible peacetime uses of nuclear energy. Kurchatov had played catch-up too long with the West in the field - and would never have caught up if it had not been for the spying for Moscow by 'K' apparently aka SCOTT and Peter Wright, as I have written about him in the Trowbridge Archive - for too long to take the proposal too seriously: "Kurchatov considered privately that the conception of science overstepping national frontiers," his interpreter Malcolm Mackintosh related, "was inadmissible at the monent. He himself was a Russian first and a scientist second." (Quoted from David Holloway, Stalin and the Bomb, p. 362.)

Of course, the Americans were equally involved in developing the use of the whole spectrum of atomic waves for military purposes - everything from thermonuclear weapons to tabletop-sized, nuclear explosions, thanks to what lasers and accelerators could provide. American scientists became more and more America Firsters, though, as the process went on because of the fallout from the McCarthy era, and the deciphering of Soviet coded cables during WWII by the Venona Project. Thanks to what happened to scientists J. Robert Oppenheimer, Enrico Fermi, Theodore Hall, Clarence Hiskey,Giovanni Lomanitz, Joseph Weinberg, Martin Kamen, David Bohm, Hyman Goldsmith, Morris Perelman, William Perl and many others - rightly or wrongly - the American scientific community learned the hard way to do whatever its employers asked, whether public or private, and never ask the reason why or to complain to others.

While the development of missiles and atomic bombs took the world to the brink of annihilation, as the Cuban Missile Crisis played itself out in October 1962, the threat of it realizing what the policy, mutually assured destruction (MAD), was intended to prevent led the superpowers to seek other weapons systems. While the covert operations against Cuba to precipitate a showdown with the Castro regime - making it look like it shot down John Glenn's risky obiting the globe if the mission went belly up, like it attacked the American base at Guantanamo to expel the colonial power from the island, and the like - have been previously emphasized, Washington's manipulation of Cuba's weather - what it had been working on since 1947 when it was unsuccessful in diverting a hurricane from hitting Savannah - especially increasing the power of hurricanes and tropical storms, was much more devastating.

During the 1960s, the Atlantic Basin experienced a rising tide of hurricanes, with 6 occurring in 1961, 5 in 1964, and 3 in 1966. There were only 18 such storms during the 25-year period from 1944 to 1969. The timing of these waves of hurricanes is just too politically convenient for them not to have been deliberately made by covert government in Washington - right after the Bay of Pigs fiasco, the assassination of JFK which gave the green light to everything covert government could muster, and right after it become completely bogged down militarily in Vietnam. This is not to say that Washington created the tropical storms in the first place. It only intensified ones which suited its agenda, and guided them as best it could over Cuba.

And there is no doubt that America had the capability to do these things if it wanted, and could have had the power to create earthquakes if it had so chosen. As Lt. Col. Thomas Bearden belatedly remarked at the 1981 US Psychotronics Association, all one had to do to make a tropical storm into a hurricane was to dephase the frequency of standing electromagnetic waves - what powerful lasers could do with new accelerators - into the air it was passing through.

Psychotronics is broad program to direct people, objects or equipment through various software to do things contrary to their own programming. It was increasingly interested in hypnotizing operators from a remote distance instead of developing Nikola Tesla's hardware, and Bearden was informing the public of what needed to be done while American inventors and operators were catching up with Moscow in the field.

As go-for-broke Professor Gordon J. F. MacDonald of UCLA's Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics explained 15 years before in his paper, "How to Wreck The Environment," for a volume provocatively entitled Unless Peace Comes: "The key to geophysical warfare is the identification of environmental instabilities to which the addition of a small amount of energy would release vastly greater amounts of energy." This knowledge and capability could result in engineering earthquakes, melting the polar ice cap, depleting the ozone layer, weather manipulation, climate modification, ocean wave control, and even brain wave manipulation of whole populations.

Unfortunately, as Jonathan Vankin and John Whalen have indicated in The 60 Greatest Conspiracies, America chose MacDonald's program in remote viewing instead of the other options. "In this way," the mad Doctor explained, "one could develop a system that could seriously impair the brain peformance of very large populations in selected regions over an extended period....No matter how deeply disturbing the thought of using the environment to manipulate behavior for national advantages, to some, the technology permitting such use will very probably develop within the next few decades." (Quoted from p. 435.)

To give cover to the making of these hurricanes, and to come up with a means of preventing them if the need arose, Washington carried out Operation Stormfury, starting in 1962 - the project to seed storms with silver iodide, lead, and dry ice in the hope that they would prevent hurricanes from forming by breaking storms up by, on occasion, man-made tornadoes. The whole project was like many others in the scientific field where finding a remedy for something terrible - like stopping cults - necessitated the need of creating them for studying and testing correctives.

When it came necessary to use the project in Vietnam to stop Vietcong transport on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, and to attack targets with greater cloud protection, the Air Force hid its transfer of the expensive capability from the Gulf by causing a great cloud to develop over Hispaniola, causing the inhabitants of Haita and the Dominican Republic to run in terror, fearing the end of the world.

The effects of climate change by the superpowers were evident by the 1960s for all to see if only one had taken the time to look. The polar ice gaps and the ozone layers were starting to diminish - what would quicken when they, especially the Soviets, began attacking the areas with electromagnetic waves of certain frequencies, causing standing waves of devastating proportions.
While scientists would belatedly claim that this was the result of using choroflurohyrocarbons, it was essentially the result of human rayguns which cooked up a dangerous mixture of waves, sea water and sunlight, creating deadly side products of bromine and chlorine which degraded the ozone layers.

The reason for these efforts was not just for immediate tactical success but also long-term
strategic advantage. The US Navy, for example, helped melt down the ice cap over the North Pole so that Russian submarines of all types would have few places to hide in a Cold War showdown. Little wonder that it is now looking at an ice-free Northwest Passage in the near future, and wondering how to defend it. The USSR's program Woodpecker has so warmed up Siberia, making its vast mineral deposits accessible, but the process has left Russia with the western part increasingly contaminated with methane, and the eastern part drying up like a desert. And they both have been monkeying around with the weather at the South Pole in the hope of gaining new resources - what only degraded further its ice cap and ozone layers.

While this whole reckless process was going on, the Soviets, it seems, decided to increase its geo-political position by chopping down Mao Zedong's China a peg with its new earthquake-making capability. No sooner had America withdrawn from South Vietnam than China's leaderhip was confronted with the growing possibility of encirclement - the domino effect in reverse. While the Vietnamese were taking the measure of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia, Leonid Brezhnev and KGB Chief Yuri Andropov settled scores with China's Cultural Revolution, helping finish off its Old Guard in the process.

The scene was set for the showdown when the Norwegians decided to award the Nobel Peace Prize to Sakharov right after Moscow had agreed to the Helsinki Accords - though he was prevented from leaving to country to accept it just to be on the safe side. The Krelimin decided that in making a big stink over giving it to the noted scientist and human rights worker, it could create a smokescreen for a crippling attack on its upstart neighbor. By branding Skaharov as "Public Enemy Number One", and taking the most crude measures to silence him and his supporters, especially his wife Elena Bonner, scientist Yuri Orlov, and Peter Wright's one-time handler Vladimir Bukovsky, the Soviet leadership fixed the world's attention on apparently another series of show trials, reminscent of Stalin's more paranoid days. (For a most ill-conceived analysis of the process, see Christopher Andrew and Vasili Mitrokhin, The Sword and the Shield, p. 322ff.)

With the world's attention fixed on whether Sakharov would too be tried, and Orlov, a leading candidate for another peace laureate, would soon follow, the Soviets apparently caused an 8.2 earthquake during the early morning of July 28, 1976 in the city of Tangshan, southwest of Peking, destroying nearly all of it, and half of its one million inhabitants. The earthquake came without any tremors, and at a time when all the preparations to render some disaster less destructive were useless because all the people were sleeping. Scientists did not think that such a powerful earthquake was possible for another century, given the area's previous history.

While Western scientists considered the quake a matter of nature simply taking its course, Chinese official were much more suspicious about its cause, though they too predicted the possibility of a moderate one occurring at the time. On the night before, people noticed strange lights -so-called 'earthquake lights' ("Tesla Effect") - animals, fowl and fish were behaving in all kinds of strange ways, and underground water temperatures were completely abnormal. The earth was literally shaking, with intermitant flashes of light, before the quake finally struck.

Sino-Soviet relations immediately began to improve after the terrible disaster. The "Curse of 1976" was followed two months later by Mao's death. Zhou Enlai and Zhu De had died a few months before the quake, and Mao's followers, The Gang of Four, were badly embarrassed by not visiting the stricken site while charging Deng Xiaoping with having sabotated relief efforts. Mao's titular successor Hua Guofeng and Chen Yonggui, who had made a personal visit to Tangshan on August 4th to survey the damage, then saw to the end of The Gang of Four and China's isolation.

In the January 1978 edition of Specula magazine, when the smoke from the disaster had settled, Andrija Puharich - an American doctor and lawyer deeply involved in the remote viewing program at his home, Turkey Farm, in Ossining, New York - published an article, entitled "Global Magnetic Warfare - A Layman's View of Certain Artifically Induced Unusual Effects on the Planet Earth During 1976 and 1977," charging that the Soviets had done it. "By interferometer techniques, giant standing waves," he explained, "can be combined to produce a focused beam of very great energy."

Given Puharich's close connections to the Agency, everyone apparently assumed that this was just some of its black propaganda, hiding perhaps what Washington had really done, and the CIA did what it could to bolster the claim by, it seems, burning down the Turkey Farm, targeting him for assassination on several occasion, and even killing him in 1995 apparently when the Clinton administration decided to go into the weather manipulation business big time. Until then, Washington was afraid to admit how far behind it was in the earthquake-making business for fear of terrorizing its citizens. Soviet defector Oleg Kalugin, for example, claimed in 1993 that the Soviets had tried to achieve the same results by attempting to plant nuclear weapons off America's and exploding them to create devastating results

It would have been a far different matter if Yuri Orlov, the Soviets' expert on its particle accelerator projects, had been running around the world, talking about them in order to improve his credentials for the Nobel Peace Prize. Orlov was a troublemaking genius. The high energy physicist had formed the Moscow chapter of Amnesty International in 1973, causing his dismissal from Moscow's Institute of Terrestrial Magnetism in 1976.

While in "soft exile" in Armenia, he became such an important player in its particle accelerator projects at Yerevan that he was brought back to Moscow. There, instead of causing more trouble, though, he was soon arrested in February 1977, held in communicado for months, tried and sentenced to Siberia in May 1978, and only released in 1986 by Gorbachev after the showdown with America had passed without Armageddon.

The only important thing which happened in this area in the interim was the buildup of the capability so what Washington could cause earthquakes on demand if the Cold War called for it - what was in the offing after Sweden's statsminister Olof Palme was assassinated at the end of February 1986 in Stockholm. An Anglo-American conspiracy hoped that this would trigger a final showdown with Moscow, once its attack submarines started sinking Soviet nuclear ones when they hurriedly went on line after the surprise. Washington and London planned to start the air and land attack with America's Operation Eagle joining NATO's Anchor Express Exercise in an assault on the Kola Pennisula to convince Moscow that the gig was up, and if the Krelimin continued the hopeless struggle to follow up the assaults with massive earthquakes around the USSR. (See my articles about various aspect of this most complicated conspiracy in the Trowbridge Archive.)

In 1993, Clinton's White House agreed to testing its equipment by having an experimental one in Australia's Great Victoria Desert. As Bill Bryson explained four years later in The New York Times: "The seismographic traces didn't fit the profile of an earthquake or mining explosion, and anyway the blast was 170 times more powerful than the most powerful mining explosion ever recorded in Western Australia." Bryson was most inclined to blame the explosion on a bomb built by the Japanese terrorists, the Aum Shinrikyo, since they conveniently owned property near the center of the explosion, though there was apparently no evidence of radiation.

Bryson's apparent disinformation induced Jason Jeffrey to write an article, "Earthquakes: Natural or Man-Made?", for a 1999 issue of New Dawn magazine, taking issue with the claim that the Aum Shinrikyo group probably did it. By this time, America, it seems, had used the equipment for real, causing a 6.7 or greater earthquake in Izmit, Turkey on August 17, 1999 - a country paralyzed by no effective government, and not knowing where to turn. As with the one in China, experts had recently predicted that there was only a 12% of one happening like this in the next 30 years. To add to the unreality of the analysis of the disaster, the US Geodetic Survey quoted from Ammianus Marcellines's account of Izmit's destruction by an earthquake in 358 A.D.

As in the tragedy in Tangshan, Jeffrey described the piezolectric effect aka "Tesla Effect" just before it struck. Two days before it happened, fish and crustaceans in large amounts
were found floating dead in the water, and nets and rocks were burned. "Furthermore," Jeffrey added," just before the quake, the bottom of the sea in Izmit went red and sea temperature went up to 40-45 degrees C. However, there are no underwater volcanoes in the Sea of Marmara."

About the test in the Australian desert, Jeffrey agreed with Harry Mason's 19-page report - what was later published too in New Dawn magazine. Witnesses told him that "they saw the sky ablaze, heard loud explosions and felt the ground shake, in one case knocking beer cans off a table." Mason was in no doubt that it was caused by "a very advanced eletromagnetic weapons system." As for whose it could be, Jeffry added: "And most worrying is mounting evidence that the US military now has the ability to create earthquakes - the ultimate weapon of war."

In the 21st century, the Pentagon has let it all hang out, as I have described in previous articles about the earthquakes in Bam, the Indian Ocean, and Pakistan, and hurricane Katrina - what Clinton too started with a new cycle on hurricanes for strategic purposes in 1995 - just when the Norwegians had finally recognized the efforts by Rotblat and the Pugwash movement for peace by awarding them the prize in 1999. In the period 1990-2004, there have been 269 hurricanes
worldwide, an increase of over 50% from the previous 15-year period.

Of course, I am not saying or implying that it has caused them all or even many of the devastating earthquakes and hurricanes, but it has caused enough to help bring on a period of violent weather whose conclusion no one can easily predict. And it will do no good to back away from what is happening, as Jeffrey did when he updated his thoughts about who or what was causing them after the Asian tsunami in December 2004 in a recent issue of New Dawn magazine. But it won't be pretty, and the American government has much to answer for helping make it happen.

Weather War?

New evidence suggests US & Russia are embroiled in an illegal race to harness the power of hurricanes & earthquakes

However this sort of rain-making experiment was nothing new. In Britain, it has been alleged that before the devastating Lynmouth floods in Devon in 1952, the RAF had been conducting secret rain-making tests. Aircraft showered clouds with silver iodide, on which water droplets formed, became heavy and eventually fell to the ground as rain. In the next 12 hours nine inches of rain fell - 250 times the normal amount for August - and 35 people were killed.

Former North Devon MP Tony Speller, then a 22-year-old soldier who helped in the relief effort, sought answers from the MoD.

"I have no doubt they were seeding in the area because there were RAF log books to prove it, " he says now. "Of course the MoD denied any knowledge but that is not to say it did not happen."

Speller, now 76, adds: "I doubt we will ever know the truth."

Early work on climate control was crude and unpredictable but it is claimed that both the Americans and Russians continued to experiment behind closed doors even after the UN ban in the mid-Eighties, and both now possess sophisticated systems which are capable of controlling the weather - with potentially devastating results.

In the US, the technology was developed under the high-frequency active auroral research programme ( HAARP) - originally part of Ronald Reagan's controversial Star Wars defence system. Based in Gokoma, Alaska, the weapon operates by beaming powerful radio waves into the upper atmosphere to alter weather patterns. Some experts claim the system is already up and running, while others say it won't be ready for another 20 years.

Michel Chossudovsky, professor of economics at the University of Ottawa in Canada, who has studied official military documents about HAARP, is in no doubt that the weapon is ready.

"There are very clear statements by the US Air Force to the effect that weather modification technology is available. HAARP will be fully operational by next year and could be used in actual military situations, " he says.

"To claim this system has any nonmilitary purposes is twisting the truth.

I don't think there are any peaceful applications - it is a weapon of mass destruction, capable of major climatic disturbance. Part of the beauty is that the enemy might never know that a weapon had been used. I believe the UN agreement is certainly being violated."

He claims that at least one British firm has been involved in its development.

"It is time people began focusing on these weapons instead of concentrating solely on global warming, " Chossudovsky adds. "Both are a serious threat."

The Russians are thought to have their own "weather steering" system, called Woodpecker, involving the transmission of low-frequency waves which are capable of disrupting the atmosphere and altering the path of the jet stream. It is claimed that a prolonged drought in California in the Eighties was caused by the blocking of warm, moist air for many weeks.

According to Damian Wilson, a physicist with the Met Office, controlling climate is a reality but not a precise science. "Clearing fog by dropping dry ice into clouds is a proven technique which has been around for decades, " he says.

"Large amounts of research have been invested in seeding clouds to generate rain and it is done in countries where there are water shortages. The problem is that it is unpredictable and you need clouds to start with. The technology does not exist to make rain fall from clear blue skies so it cannot be used in the desert to end droughts and famines."

WILSON believes it is possible to alter the course of a hurricane, which could have enormous life-saving potential. The current mayhem in the Caribbean and America's Eastern seaboard also shows what a destructive weapon a well-targeted storm could prove.

The Americans used cloud seeding to try to control a hurricane in 1947 but the tactic backfired when it picked up strength and hit Savannah, Georgia.

It is known that the US carried out further hurricane-manipulation experiments between 1962 and 1983, under the codename Project Stormfury, after it was calculated that a single hurricane contained as much energy as all the world's power stations combined. More recent projects have involved pouring tens of thousands of gallons of vegetable oil on to the sea.

"Hurricanes gather their strength from the warm sea surface, " says Wilson. "By spreading a large film of oil on the sea it would reduce the intensity by cooling the surface. In theory it is possible to change the path of the hurricane this way. It would not surprise me if military research into controlling the weather goes on. As we suffer more summer droughts in the south-east of England I would also expect to see pressure for cloud seeding to be introduced in this country."

It is not just the weather that has attracted the attention of the military.

Why Malaysia's Mahathir Is So Mad

by Trowbridge H. Ford

Click the image to enlarge it At the conference on human rights in Kuala Lumpur ten days ago, former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad stirred up a diplomatic storm when he denounced British and American pilots who took part in the invasion and occupation of Iraq, calling them terrorists who simply did the bidding of their terrorist masters.

This attack by Mahathir, who left office in 2003 after 22 years in power, was most unexpected since he had long supported the Ango-American war on terror, though he did not support either the war against the Taliban in Afghanistan or for Saddam Hussein's ouster. More surprising when it occurred, Britain's High Commissioner to Mayalsia Bruce Cleghorn and several unidentified American diplomats, apparently including Ambassdor Christopher LaFleur, made unprecedented, hasty departures, raising eyebrows even among the usually staid diplomatic corps and media. The fact that Britain's Queen Elizabeth is Malaysia's chief of state, and Cleghorn is her representative made his leading the charge out, no matter what Mahathir said, doubly insulting to Malaysian democracy.

Certainly, Mahathir could hardly expect to be winning friends among them by saying things like this about the wars' conduct: "The British and American bomber pilots came, unopposed, safe and cozy in their state of the art aircraft, pressing buttons to drop bombs, to kill and maim. And these murderers, for this is what they are, would go back to celebrate 'Mission Accomplished' " - repeating in a most pointed way what President Bush, sporting a flight jacket, had uttered from the deck of an American aircraft carrier upon the fall of Iraq's dictator. Then Mahathir added what soldiers on the ground - more terrorists - were doing to defenceless Iraqi civilians with impunity and without any accounting.

Still, the former Malaysian leader was not without similar problems of his own, having locked up many Islamic radicals without charge after the 9/11 attacks - recalling what Attorney General John Ashcroft had done in the States - and jailing his former deputy, Islamist Anwar Ibrahim, who was leading demonstrations against the government, on trumped-up charges of sodomy and corruption, so why all the fuss over what the retired leader said? It seems that his comments were just the tip of the iceberg - what the American and British diplomats anticipated, and pre-empted discovery of by the unprecedented walkout. The very idea of Mahathir being the guest speaker at a Suhakam conference on human rights was a invitation to disaster which must be downsized as soon and as much as possible.

In the absence of the British and American diplomats, the Malaysian leader still pressed on, denouncing their justifications of the wars in this contemptuous fashion: "As we all know it was a lie." As for what has happened since, he added: "Worse still, the powers which are supposed to save the Iraqi people have broken laws on human rights by detaining Iraqis and others and torturing them at Guantanamo, Abu Ghraib and elsewhere" - an allusion to the rendition of suspected terrorists to the countries of their origin or to regimes noted for their ability in gaining confessions.

It was at another conference, the 10th Session of Islamic Summit Conference, less than two years before at Putrajaya, Malaysia's administrative capital, that a renewed Mahathir had been much more diplomatic and optimistic about the country's prospects. With Anwar safely locked up, and successor Abdulla Ahmad Badawi being groomed to take over, the Malaysian Prime Minister spoke most positively about the possibilities of the world's 1.3 billion Muslims making their weight felt despite their lack of governments with military clout, and responsive to their needs, now that its economic meltdown because of the IT slump in 2000 was being overcome.

Now that the wars against Afghanistan and Iraq were completed, Mahathir explained, the West was beginning to make mistakes in its occupation of them which was providing opportunities for Islam. Recalling the Prophet's troubles during his first 22 years - what resulted in great success the following one - he called his colleagues to work together, using their brains to defeat the designs of the Zionist-backed enemy, now that a clear window of opportunity had opened.

Mahathir sounded almost like his old self during the 1990s when Malaysia was the ASEAN economic Tiger. By then, the country of 23,000,000 people, and based on the peninsula and in North Borneo had become a multi-sector economy, thanks to its vast resources, extensive internal development, and a well-educated workforce. Coupled with its holdings of oil, natural gas, tin, iron ore, bauxite, copper, timber and rubber was a developed export market in electronics. When this slumped, Malaysia did not have the necessary foreign currency reserves, and a small enough external debt to prevent the country from sliding into recession - what Mahathir had remedied before he stepped down.

It was hardly surprising then that during the 1990s Malaysia had gone to considerable efforts to avoid, or at least minimize, the difficulties caused by its less developed, more unstable neighbors, particularly Indonesia. While Kuala Lumpur was continually complaining about Jakarta's human rights abuses in places like Aceh and East Timor, it was taking steps to alievate the pollution, especially smoke, that its most primitive agricultural sector was creating. Unlike Indonesia, Malaysia was a self-sufficient, developed country which was not threatening its neighbors in any way.

Under the circumstances, it was hardly surprising that Kuala Lumpur, under the direction of its Mininter of Science Datuk Law Hieng Ding, looked for ways to clean up the environment, especially its own. While Malaysia had no nuclear plants nor plans for their construction, as Ding explained to a Regional Workshop on Nuclear Safety Information for Decision-Makers in Kuala Lumpur in March 2000, he stressed the needs of clarifying what nuclear power really meant so that peaceful, clean energy could safely be produced: "As is the case with other fields of technology, nuclear power brought with it certain risks."

As its risks must be surmounted so it could be used, so should the power of nature, especially cyclones, given the growing smoke problems plaguing Malaysia's cites, and pollution damaging its coastline. To seed cyclones to clear its air, and clean up its beaches, especially in the West Coast states of the peninsula, Ding, it seems, contracted in 1997 with some Pentagon supplier - possibly E-Systems of Raytheon, and using Bernard J. Eastlund's patents - to seed the necessary tropical depressions, so that they could do the job Malaysia required.

The Pentagon, of course, threw up all kinds of smokescreens about what was happening. In April 1997, SOD William Cohen, a former Republican Senator who had been in the thick of America's secret operations and programs, addressed a conference called by Georgia Senator Sam Nunn on counterterrorism in this alarmist way: "Others are engaging even in eco-type terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves...So there are plenty of ingenious minds out there that are at work finding ways in which they can wreak terror upon other nations...It's real and that's the reason why we have to intensify our efforts."

No sooner had Malaysia received the go-ahead for the capability it desired than The Wall Street Journal, the newspaper most closely associated with America's warfare state, published an article by Chen May Yee, "Malaysia to Battle Smog with Cyclones," claiming that it would be supplied by Igor Pirogoff's Russian company, Elate Intelligent Technologies, Inc. Ding said that a memorandum of understanding that already been approved, and that the cyclone would be a big one or Malaysia would get its money back. Pirogoff had been featured by the same publication five years earlier, claiming that he would make weather to order for as little as $200 a day. Hurricane Andrew, one of America's most destructive, could have been reduced to "a wimpy little squall," Pirogoff contended, if only his services had been purchased.

No matter what Russia's alleged capability in this area was, and it seems to have been vastly overstated by the Americans, there was no way that Pirogoff could have altered the weather in the South Pacific without arousing a storm from Washington. Pirogoff - though there is no other evidence that he even existed, much less could do what the Pentagon was claiming - was only suggesting that he could alter the jet stream over Siberia - what could help the development of its oil resources, and might explain why Washington developed Project HAARP in Alaska to counteract. If a Russian company, obviously connected to the Kremlin, were creating a weather-altering operation over Borneo - where NASA conveniently had an earth-orbiting satellite - alarm bells would have been ringing in Washington.

The fact that this was merely a cover story for an American operation - one which would allow it to develop its weather-making capability while helping the most westward-looking regime develop its capabilities - was well demonstrated when The Wall Street Journal, especially reporter Lowell Ponte, continued to crank out stories that the Russians were the culprits. The fact that the discredited Carter administration had signed the UN Convention against the hostile use of environmental modification for military purposes was constantly cited as evidence that Washington was not the troublemaker, though the Reagan administration repeatedly vetoed any UN resolution reducing its war-making potential in space.

Ponte even wrote a column for Star Magazine in July 1982, "Pentagon and Kremlin Are Playing With Our Weather And Giving Us Storms And Floods," contending that the Soviets were using weather modification to melt the ice caps and glaciers, changing the course of rivers through causing floods, exploding devices in space to alter the jet streams, so that they could control the world's weather. The idea that only the Russians had the capability was disputed in 1996 when a seven-man group of US Air Force pilots claimed that weather modification was the career for "warriors of the future".

While Malaysia was regaining its economic strength, GDP increasing to 7% in 2004 - thanks to weather modification in cyclones like Zoe - the tsunami of December last year caught it totally by surprise. Thinking that it too had suffered monumental losses like Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Somalia, India, and Bangladesh - countries wracked by terrorism - Malaysia was completely outdone by the Americans in the salvage effort. While the Pentagon was rushing the carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and the rescue vessel USS Bataan to the scene, almost as if it were prepared for it, Malaysia did lilttle more than count its dead, 68 apparently, and survey its wreckage.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz, the apparent planner of it all, had arrived on the scene, consulted with the Indonesian military about the fallout in Aceh, and had called upon ASEAN countries to do more in helping themselves before paltray aid from Kuala Lumpur had even arrived.

US Ambassador La Fleur rubbed the result in when he opened the Second ASEAN Leadership Forum,"Asean on the Move: Building on Success", on March 18, 2005. After stating that the US relationship with the area has never been better, and before describing the man-made risks facing it - terrorism, nuclear proliferation, maritime insecuirty, and economic difficulties - he mentioned nature's tsunami, and the massive efforts America had made to allievate its destruction and prevent its recurrence. "In short," he concluded, "it showed us how fragile we are. But it also showed us how resourceful we can be when we work together to overcome adversity."

Then Malaysia was wracked by Hurricane Katrina. Though, of course, it was not affected in any physical way by what happened in the Gulf area, it was immediately dragged into the controversy about its necessity in a most negative way. The need for such countermeasures had been supplied by the popular American novelist Sydney Sheldon, noted for his action-packed though rather unrealistic best sellers. His latest one, Are You Afriad of the Dark?, concerned a most evil CEO Tanner whose firm, Kingsley International Group, was attempting to take over the world by controlling its weather.

To make the novel more believeable, Sheldon added this most intriguing afterword: "Weather is the most powerful force we know. Whoever controls it can disrupt world economies with perpetual rainstroms and tornadoes; wipe out crops in a drought; cause earthquakes, hurricanes and tsunamies; close world airports and cause devastation on enemy battlefields."

To make Americans feel better about the possibilities of this prospect, Mike Blair wrote a piece, "Harnessing Weather: Allegations Surface that US, Russia Have Technology to Manage Hurricanes," for the American Free Press on September 5th. After citing Sheldon's afterword about man now being able to do something about the weather, he repeated everything that had been written, especially in the WSJ, about Malaysia's efforts in the process.

Then Blair, sounding much like British officials involved in counterterrorism with the same last name, called the Malaysian Embassies in Washington and New York to confirm it. While Blair came up with nothing in the nation's capital, Hasny Agam's people at the UN confirmed the claims - the Russians had created cyclones for Kuala Lumpur.

Little wonder then, that Mahathir went ballistic about Britain's and America's role in the world the first chance he got back in Malaysia.

To complement Blair's efforts in a most reassuring way, Lowell Ponte then wrote another of his "Ponte fications" for FrontPageMag.com, "Katrina and the Politics of Pre-emption," repeating yet again that America had never done anything serious about manipulating the weather, going all the way back to the NOAA Project Stormfury in 1962. "But President Bush and future presidents," Ponte hypothesized, "may face a more difficult decision: whether to attempt to use cloud seeding or other techniques to preempt or deflect hurricanes that threaten major cities where thousands could die."

This could only have made Mahathir madder.

Weather-Making, Katrina, and the Gulf Tragedy

by Trowbridge H. Ford

In no field of human endeavor is less known about who put together what than in engineering. While people can readily recite who made important breakthroughs in all kinds of sciences and the arts, the names of who developed important inventions, and provided for their application in ways that helped mankind are hard to find. Outside of the inventors of the light bulb, the radio, and the telephone - inventions which revolutionized home life so much that the movie industry even exploited their potential - the real builders of our mechanical civilization remain largely anonymous.

One of the most important ones, and one who still remains too unknown, is Nikola Tesla, the Serbian-born inventor who came to the United States in 1884 where he constructed the first induction motor which provided alternating current, and developed the dynamos and transformers to make electricity a readily available resource. In doing so, Tesla even outdistanced his mentor, the famous Thomas Alva Edison, though his success with him was soon dashed when he seduced his daughter. George Westinghouse bought up Tesla patents, and J. P. Morgan agreed to finance Tesla's research after the break-up with the Edisons.

Then Tesla made notable advances in energy resonance, creating oscillators which caused a minor earthquake in New York in 1896, and ultimately generated 500,000 volts - what was so strong that it could light up 200 lamps 25 miles away without any wires. He created electrical flashes, minicking nature's lightning, measuring 135 feet in length. Soon Tesla envisioned the modern communication system where waves of various sorts, emitted by various appliances like the radio - which he is ultimately credited with having invented - and powered by hydroelectric generators, enabled people to transmit messages to one another around the globe. Even after the funds from Morgan dried up, Tesla investigated the potential of remote-control and microwaves in particle beam weaponry.

When WWI came along, Tesla, literally convinced that his proposed waves could crack open the whole world, recorded a patent for a transmitter which would "...project electrical energy in any amount to any distance and apply it for innumerable purposes, both in war and peace." (NYT, Dec. 8, 1915) When WWII followed, the aged Tesla volunteered to provide Washington with his 'teleforce', a ray gun which would melt the motors of enemy planes up to a distance of 250 miles. "This new type of force," he explained, " would operate through a beam one hundred-millionth of a square cenimeter in diameter, and could be generated from a special plant what would cost no more than $2,000,000 and would take only about three months to construct." (Quoted from John Vankin and John Whalen, The 60 Greatest Conspiracies of All Time, p. 434.)

While the construction of the atomic bomb took precedence over Tesla's plan, it emerged as an attractive area to develop as the Cold War became increasingly bogged down in mutually-assured- destruction (MAD), given the nuclear standoff. With the stalemate in ICBMs, the superpowers looked for strategic surprises of a tactical and technical nature. While the US Navy, for example, was probbing Soviet waters in the hope of tapping communication lines which would facilitate an underwater coup, especially against its 'boomers', Moscow concentrated upon achieving breakthroughs in the WMD field, especially in chemical and biological weapons.

Then the Soviets tried to convert their communications to microwaves in order to achieve greater security in their transmissions - what Washington counteracted by a most ambitious satellite program, starting with the Rhyolite, geosynchronous base at Pine Gap in the wilds of Australia. It had been picked because any unencrypted message it received was almost impossible to intercept because of its inaccessible location. Microwaves travel in a straight line, and to intercept them, one must be somewhere along that line.

Given this increasingly paranoid environment, it was hardly surprising that the Pentagon developed a renewed interest in mass mind-control, and in modifying the weather. Thanks to research conducted by physicist Bernard J. Eastlund, and patents held by ARCO Power Technologies, Inc., Washington was offered a mind-boggling menu of hy-tech offensive and defensive weapons - heated plumes of charged particles which would competely disrupt the earth's communication system, guidance systems of potential enemies' weapons, and the strategic defense of third parties.

Weather modification could completely incapacitate missiles by creating unexpected drag by "...altering upper atmospheric wind patterns or altering solar absorption patters by constructing one or more plumes of particles which will act as a lens or focusing device." (Ibid., pp. 431-2) The result would be a vast amount of sunlight from the ionosphere being focused on a specific area of the earth. One patent stated that an ideal site for such a heater would be in Alaska where vast amounts of gas exist to fuel such a mechanism, and the magnetic field lines are most desireable for this intervention.

Given such potential - especially when it came to the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) -
the Reagan administration funded Project HAARP (High-frequency Active Auroral Research Progam) - $30,000,000 to build an "ionospheric heater" 200 miles east of Anchorage, Alaska
which would heat up the earth with high-frequency radio waves for apparently scientific, communication, and surveillance purposes. The 23-acre complex, completed in 1997, has 180 towers, capable of creating beams within the 2.5-to-10-megahertz range at up to more than 3 gigawatts of power (3 billion watts). Such beams were thought to be capable of shooting down ICBMs in flight.

While this expectation proved groundless - ICBMs are just going too fast for enough watts to be directed at them to secure their destruction - the HAARP Project had to find other targets to heat up, and Eastlund was most forthcoming, too forthcoming, about what they could be. As CEO of Eastland Scientific Enterprises Corp. in San Diego, he proposed that microwaves be beamed into thunder clouds in order to prevent tornadoes from forming - stop the formation of mesocyclones by shooting beams of 1,000,000,000 watts into them so that cold air barricades could not prevent the hot air columns from continuing to rise. Earth-obiting satellites could provide the platforms for such beams, and their energy could be provided by the sun. And Eastlund just thought up the whole system while prospecting for oil and gas in Alaska!

While experiments for breaking-up tornedoes did not prove successful, the whole project was, it seems, redirected into heating up cyclones, tsunamis, and hurricanes both for experimental and strategic purposes. Just as the UN showdown over the proposed removal of Iraq's Saddam Hussein was shaping up in January 2003, as Joe Vialls has suggested in "Cyclone Zoe: Natural Event or Weather Warfare?", such technology apparently was used to convert Cyclone Zoe, a Category 2 one, into a monster storm, a Category 5+, in just 12 hours whose 155 mph plus winds would have sucked anything in its way, including the giant aircraft carrier the USS Abraham Lincoln, into its deadly sinkhole if it had not already cleared the most dangerous area, around Tikopia Island in the Solomons, on its way to the Middle East.

As with most Vialls' articles - some of them being total rubbish - this one seems essentially
correct, though wrong in its basic assumption - that New York Zionists were somehow behind the cooking up of Zoe in order to stop the war - rendering it a totally dismissed account. Vialls premised much of his work on the assumption that some kind of Jewish conspiracy - the Elders of Zion, perhaps? - was working behind the major governments, manipulating affairs to protect their holdings. This was terrible disinformation, but, perhaps, this was Vialls' real purpose.

Still, Project HAARP could have easily provided the necessary energy, transmitted it to a TRW satellite hovering high over Borneo which Pine Gap then directed down into the Pacific east of the Solomons as Zoe approached.

Few people are aware that Pine Gap is the Agency's most important base in the world. When Watergate was threatening to lead to its complete demise, DCI George H. W. Bush went all out to secure its continuance, an important step of which was keeping Pine Gap secretly operating. It was left to conspiracy theorists, and whistleblowers, like Dr. Helen Caldicott and Victor Marchetti, to describe this operation, a "mild Chile".

In November 1975, Australia's Labour Prime Minister Gough Whitlam was dismissed from office by Governor General James Kerr, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's Crown representative, and a leading Opposition politician, for demanding to know what was really going on at Pine Gap, and threatening not to renew its lease if he were not told. Bush told his Australian counterpart that the bilateral intelligence relationship would not be continued if Whitlam's demand was met. Since then, Australia has been America's closest ally. (It is interesting to note that James Bamford has nothing about the coup d'etat in his study of the CIA's basic sister agencies, Body of Secrets: How America's NSA and Britain's GCHQ Eavesdrop on the World.)

When the rest of the world needed another reality check about the necessity of the war on terror because the Anglo-American war against Iraq was flagging, and it needed more international cooperation in the face of its upcoming elections, the Indian Ocean suffered a monster earthquake - 9.0 on the Richter scale and by far the most destructive one in recorded history since 1900 - when thrust-faulting occurred at the interface of the India and Burma plates, causing tsunamies which killed about 283,100 people. The earthquake was unique in that it was not preceded by tremors beforehand, but followed by the expected aftershocks.

While Joe Vialls, in typical style, blamed it in a January 2005 article upon a nuclear weapon that the Zionists, now running Washington, had deposited surreptiously upon the ocean floor, and had exploded, Dr. Rosalie Bertell, in her book Planet Earth: The Latest Weapon of War, seemed closer to the truth when she indicated that it could well be the result of one of America's new electromagnetic weapons, due to come on line by 2005.

"Dr. Bertell was referring to how engineered earthquakes and tornadoes," Rahat S. Hawa explained on the internet about her lecture in Dhaka in 2000, "could wreck havoc on populations and nations." According to Bertell, very-low frequency (VLF) electromagnetic waves could be sent through the earth to a desired spot on its surface, causing the interfaces of plates to melt, and a sudden earthquake to occur, resulting in deadly tsunamies.

Dr. Caldicott, in her book, Missile Envy, has described the large US Navy facility which was built on the North West Cape in 1967, and can trasmit such signals for America's global defense network. "It covers,2 she explained, "the western and southern Pacific and Indian oceans." (p. 128) The epicenter of the earthquake was due north of Australia's North West Cape, across only open water. Vialls, though, made no mention of this when discussing "Little Johnny's" kowtowing to the Americans.

The cause of the December 2004 tsunamies were troubling enough to even respected scientists that they had to resort to an imagined gravity wave striking the earth at the time, 44.8 hours before it experienced a massive gamma ray burst from a galactic core explosion within the Milky Way. It seems that gravity waves and gamma ray bursts occur usually in sequence, and the gravity wave could have caused the damage, given the depletion of the ozone layers.

The only problems with the theory are that major gravity wave telescopes in Washington state and Louisiana to record such data, like many of the warning systems, were not on line at the time, so we have no evidence of its occurrence. Moreover, if there was such a gravity wave, why were not more plates affected, and more tsunamies occurring? The whole world is covered with such plates, crashing up against one another, and it seems incredible that the gravity wave - unless it were one of God's 'intelligent design' - would have only affected the ones off Burma, India, and Indonesia.

In sum, it does seem that Paul Wolfowitz, the former Deputy Secretary of Defense who was overseeing the day-to-day operations in the war on terrorism saw to the dirty work required, but not in the way that Vialls claimed, and for which he was duly rewarded by being named President of the World Bank which will have the problem of trying to clear up the mess. Apparently, no one expected such a massive earthquake.

When the December tsunamies had the desired effect of bringing the international community back on line when it came to the war in Iraq, it was hardly surprising that the Bush administration looked to the Pentagon again to cook up more clouds when it came to bringing the increasingly dubious American public back on line, especially with the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks rapidly approaching. And the coast was clear with troublesome conspriacy theorist Vialls, apparently up and dying.

The only trouble was that the planners had little to work with - with only the puny Tropical Depression Katrina which was slowly drifting across the Atlantic from Africa by mid August. By the time it reached Florida, it was still only a Category 1 hurricane, as Michael Moore duly recorded afterwards in an angry letter to President Bush: "Last Thursday I was in south Florida while the eye of Hurricane Katrina passed over my head. It was only a Category 1 then but it was pretty nasty. Eleven people died..."

To increase its nastiness, it was apparently given a shot from some kind of ray gun which rapidly made it into a Category 5 one with winds like Cyclone Zoe. The Navy has a facility at Key West comparable to the one NSA has at Pine Gap. The hurricane was different from others in that the water was leading the wind, with waves of 60 feet being created, and water temperatures reaching an unprecedented 90 degress F. along the coast - what caused unexpected havoc among America's Gulf oil industry, with a dozen or so of its rigs being ripped from their moorings, and driven miles away.

AP photographer Peter Cosgrove took a picture of one of the massive structures deposited on Dauphin Island, Alabama. With production cut by 2,000,000 barrels a day, it may take many months for Gulf drilling to return to normal.

Still, Katrina performed as expected, once it hit the Gulf coast, pounding the area east of New Orleans hard, but with little loss of life. While most people considered the hurricane a terrible natural disaster, Bush clearly reacted to it as a man-made one, like the 9/11attacks, which could work to his advantage as events unfolded. While he played golf, and met Republicans in Wyoming to bolster his support for the war - reminiscent of his behavior after 9/11 - the tidal wave worked its will on the underfunded infrastructure of the area - especially the dikes of Lake Pontchartrain, and the levees of New Orleans - creating a mess which only Washington could clean up, and whose true extent - especially the number killed how and when - would only be known many months later, if at all.

Bush is already regaining the political initiative, thanks to America's cumbersome federal system, its lack of a competent administration at any level, and politics which generally resort to little more than finger-pointing in such circumstances - what leads to a most suspicious, uncooperative citizenry. The failure of Washington to be more forthcoming with the recovery operation, and basic needs of the survivors can easily be countered by attacking the states, especially Louisiana's governor, and their municipalities, particularly New Orelans. Then in any crisis, America's security people, except for the Coast Guard and fire departments, are trained in little more than maintaining order, what quickly became a 'shoot-to-kill' policy with suspected looters, as if all humans do not have a right to life.

The outspoken mayor of New Orleans, Ray Nagin, did not even institute any evacuation plan after he ordered its citizens at the last moment to leave. Then many thousands of them who had automobiles still refused to go, claiming all kinds of excuses - no money, nowhere to go, etc., as if the people who actually left had easy agendas to accomplish. By staying, the people with cars guaranteed that they were left with little or nothing as the flooding guaranteed that their cars, houses, and other possessions were rendered virtually useless. They and the other people who were obliged to remain probably still survived as the leaking dikes and levees never permitted the waters to completely submerge a dwelling.

With the cock-up starting to unravel, it was hardly surprising that judicial.com coughed up a story claiming that Joe Vialls was probably Ari Ben-Menashe, the Mossad's ultimate fixer, to keep the people confused. Ben-Menashe takes care of Israeli troublemakers - like Amiran Nir after he threatened Vice President Bush with telling all when Iran-Contra scandal started to unravel - so, if anything, it seems more likely that Ben-Menashe disposed of Vialls, though Vialls, as far as I can determine, never disclosed what the Mossad and the Americans were really doing in his native Australia, especially from the North West Cape facilities just next door.

Though one could never be sure just what he would come up with, so, to be on the safe side, whoever Vialls might be, it was decided prudently not only to avoid such a story but also similar ones in the future by getting rid of him one way or another. The war on terror can no longer afford such inventive observers.

Hurricane Katrina and the Rape of New Orleans

My heart goes out to the people of New Orleans, it's one of those places I'd always wanted to visit but never got round to, now I won't get the chance and that is sad. This post may seem insensitive and it may offend some, if it does then I regret that. The thing is that very little is REALLY known about what's REALLY going on so I think that all possibilities should be considered. If you're interested in this "Scalar" material I recommend you do a web search for "HAARP Alaska". I would honestly like to think that the scale of this disaster was more due to Bush's war diverting funds away from levees rather than some deliberate weather control. But, in this messed-up banker-infested world ANYTHING is possible!! If you think weather modification is something out of Star Trek then think again. The US is even making laws to make weather-modification legal! Wake the fuck up people! Introduced in the US Senate on March 1, 2005, Bill S517 calls for a US "Weather Modification Advisory and Research Board" to officially commence operations in October 2005. When passed as expected, this law will make large-scale chemical alteration of the atmosphere legal across a formerly free and beautiful land called America. Maybe the chemtrails, HAARP and Katrina are linked?

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." - Thomas Jefferson

The Bush Jr. regime is a hair’s breadth away from collapsing in chaos, infamy and insanity as the Cloakanddagger.de truth radio is about to break the story how G. W. Bushfraud bribed his way into the White House in late 2000. See separate news coverage coming soon.

What happens in such situations is: News diversions are orchestrated in order to take away the public’s attention from the homespun disasters. Such as, a whale strands in the arctic and all the oil-soaked spy-riddled mainstream media babble about stranded whales for days or even weeks until the news about the actual catastrophe at home is forgotten and, for practical purposes, suppressed.

This well-known routine is happening again. As the to-be-covered-up news event (Bush bribed his way into the White House) is so huge, the cover-up ploy is also huge: A scalar-engineered hurricane named Katrina. The shadow government has decided to sacrifice an entire city, New Orleans, to cover up the coming news of bribery and in order to further rig the price of oil.

Weather engineering includes the blow-up of small hurricanes into large ones. The technology is zealously denied by so-called meterologists and physicists, but it exists anyhow. It has been described, for example, by veteran Pentagon scientist and scalar researcher Col. Tom Bearden at his huge web site, www.cheniere.org.
