Profiles In Courageous Dissent

This series of profiles examines the courageous dissent of contemporary people who are brave enough to oppose the current onslaughts on human liberty. The profiles consists of illustrative creative productions that provide a clear indication of the tenor of the persons' thought.

Awareness of these brave persons can encourage all of us to emulate their intrepid protestations against modern oppression. In a time when dissent is identified, by the Bush junta, as tantamount to sedition, it's even more necessary to stand against despotism.
