Message from a friend...

A friend sent this to me... National ID's by the back door...

"I was reading your Post 911 part of c-s and I want to impart this info with you (is that what you do with information--impart) anyway. City of Austin employees of which i am one NEVER had to wear an id badge unless they went out into the field (electric workers, etc.) Since 911 we all had to have our pictures taken and badges made. When I lost mine I asked if I needed to come down and have a new photo taken. Innocent naive me. They informed me, "No we have your picture on file in the computer." Of course they have. It seems like we should OWN our own image. Stars let their pictures be taken but if it's one they don't want shown they can sue can't they. I feel like it's an invasion of my privacy that they have my picture on their computer doing god knows what with it."
